People would be surprised to know that: "I served in the U.S. diplomatic corps in Brussels and in Rome before becoming a professor."
As provost, my job is to coordinate and support all of the university's graduate and undergraduate degree programs. I work with the deans, faculty, and Student Life professionals to make "engaged learning" the hallmark of a Robert Morris education.
I’m proud to share leadership in the university’s key academic mission: combining a broad liberal arts education with the highest level of professional preparation. I’m proud to be at a university where all of the professional programs—business, education, nursing, computing, and engineering—have been given full accreditation by peers in higher education. And I’m very proud to work with faculty colleagues who are teachers and mentors above all.
Not only do I work here—I’m a satisfied customer. My stepdaughter Jennifer earned her RMU degree, did an internship, participated in a service learning project, and is now employed in the field of her studies. Our office is ready to support more success stories like Jennifer’s.
